What began four years ago as a monthly gaming setup in the Dorchester Library has grown into a full-time community game space that welcomes people of all ages and abilities.

Today, The Playroom Experiment is ready to establish itself as an essential social space for everyone in Thames Centre.

​BUILD, SUSTAIN and GROW — these three words represent our commitment to building stronger community connections, sustaining an accessible and welcoming environment, and growing the opportunities available to the people we serve.

 

We're inviting community members and supporters to become an annual $100 Playroom Sponsor, with the option to contribute more if they wish. This support will help make this vision a reality.

 

Contributions will support new gaming materials, ongoing facility maintenance, and personnel, including creating at least two part-time student employment opportunities.

 

Our commitment to accessibility will never depend on someone's ability to contribute. Nothing changes for those who are not in a position to donate, and The Playroom Experiment will remain available to everyone — always.
