IMMERSE YOURSELF - This is our theme for the upcoming gaming season, and it invites every guest to explore gaming as more of a lifestyle choice, rather than something you do when it's raining at the campground. Use arrows to cycle through the images. Anyone passing through our game space realizes quickly that The Playroom Experiment is more than your "typical arcade" or family entertainment venue. It's where young people learn to help pioneer an idea and lead with passion. It's where families can use our space to lessen screen time and bond.
It's where seniors can reconnect with younger generations.
It's where individuals with special needs can be served and supported in new ways. And it's where any person can "hand off" and share those social experiences for others to enjoy. For some, it is simply a place to extend their social platform. For others, it can mean something more. Whatever the case may be, we let the room and its aura serve in whatever way it needs to.
The first three years of our presence in Thames Center have been a journey worth taking for many of our community members, so if you haven't been to our game space yet, consider yourself invited.
ON THE MENU
The Playroom Experiment at Flight Exec Centre will host over 80 events in the 2026/27 gaming season for community members and special groups, including VON, Autism Ontario, and the London Down Syndrome Association. Some of these "items" will remain, while others have been altered to provide a more integrated experience.
