GAME ON
COMMUNITY STRONG

A PLACE OF BELOGNING
The Playroom Experiment is a project that strengthens ties through the power of gaming. It has become an outlet for youth, individuals living with special needs, and families seeking a means to reconnect.
In 2022, The Playroom Experiment began building its roots in Dorchester, Ontario.
In just three short years, there are over 1,000 participants, volunteers, and other delegates invested in this extremely unique humanitarian initiative.

And, now, it’s coming to Aylmer.

YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TRYING
TO TELL US SOMETHING
On average, Student Climate Surveys show that a young person's sense of happiness,
belonging, and their willingness to reach out when experiencing emotional distress
can drop by as much as 30% between Grades 4 and 12.
In 2023, the desire to reach out for emotional support plunged to 7% with students in high school.

It doesn't have to be this way.
AYLMER'S FIRST INCLUSIVE GAMING LOUNGE
We're transforming a room at East Elgin Secondary School into a safe, welcoming, and wildly fun space for local youth. With their foresight, change is imminent.
This room will encompass modern-day board games, pinball, retro gaming, and a chill zone outside of gaming time — but more importantly, it’s a place where acceptance knows no bounds.

We’ll work with students, peer mentors, and teachers to build real relationships and restore confidence through play.
It is an avenue of rediscovery for young people that is long overdue, and full of opportunities.

We Can Only
Do This With You
We are seeking to raise $20,000 over the remainder of 2025, which will complete the game spacer investment. Every dollar supports equipment and access for young people who need it most.

With your sponsorship, we can offer the entire experience cost-free to students.

No barriers, no judgment - just connection.
EVERYONE PLAYS.
EVERYONE BELONGS.
As an extension of this program, elementary school students in Aylmer will also be invited to enjoy the space frequently.
When we say anyone can play a game with anyone, we mean it.
CHOOSE A
SPONSORSHIP LEVEL
All community members, businesses, and other organizations will be acknowledged appropriately in the EESS game space.
Additionally, all supporters will be displayed on our WALL OF CHAMPIONS page and receive numerous shout-outs on social media channels along the way.

This is more than just playing games. It's a community investment in youth confidence, connection and leadership.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING
